Home was a friendly place on Tuesday for both the Wyoming Cowgirls and Cowboys basketball teams.
The Cowgirls (7-3) started off the day with a 62-33 win over Colorado Christian (3-6) in their last home non-conference. Taylor Rusk scored a career high 15 points to lead the Cowgirls in scoring. Wyoming lead 41-19 at the half and played many bench players in the second half.
The Wyoming Cowboys (8-3) had to come five points behind in the last 18-second of regulation in order to force overtime against Eastern Washington University (3-8). The Pokes would outscore EWU 15-10 in the extra period to win 93-88. Hayden Dalton led the Pokes with 28 points with Justin James adding 20 points.
Wyoming will take on Texas Southern (0-9) Saturday in Laramie.
