Cowgirls Drop Home Game To Boise State

Playing without their leading scorer Liv Roberts, the Wyoming Cowgirls suffered offensively and dropped a 53-43 decision to Boise State this afternoon in Laramie.

The Cowgirls did lead 24-16 at the half, but the Broncs outscored Wyoming 24-10 in the third quarter to take the lead 40-34 heading into the fourth quarter, where again, the Cowgirls were out scored 13 to 9.

The loss drops Wyoming to 10-5 in Mountain West Conference play and 18-8 overall.  Boise State is now 8-6 in the MWC and 18-8 on the year.
