“Kids Combat Challenge” At White Mountain Library July 25

The Rock Springs Fire Department will host the “Kids Combat Challenge” at White Mountain Library on July 25th.

Kids of all ages are invited to take the challenge during two event times—11 a.m. and 1 p.m. This is an outdoor event which involved real firefighting equipment.

During the “Kids Combat Challenge,” children are invited to participate in kid friendly activities based on tests taken by firefighters.

Each participant carries a fire hose, hammers a board, “rescues” a stuffed animal in need, sprays the fire hose, and more. Kids who participate will not only get to take the challenge, but they will be able to meet real firefighters from the Rock Springs Fire Department.

The activity is free and open to children of all ages but is designed for elementary aged children.
