The Rock Springs Tigers and Lady Tigers hit the road Tuesday to play their make-up games against Jackson. The games were originally scheduled to be played February 10th but were canceled due to road conditions in the Jackson area.
The Lady Tigers (3-4 in conference, 11-5 overall ) need to win Tuesday’s game at Jackson (0-7, 0-17) plus their weekend games against Casper Kelly Walsh (5-3, 10-7) and conference leader Natrona (8-0, 13-5) in order to have any chance at a possible second place finish in the 4A West Conference and an automatic berth in the 4A State Basketball Tournament. Just a few weeks ago, the Lady Tigers defeated Jackson and Kelly Walsh at home but lost a close home game to Natrona.
The Tiger boys are looking to remain undefeated in conference play as well as well as continue with their seven game winning streak. The state’s top rated Tigers (7-0, 11-5) cannot look past an improving Jackson team (2-6, 5-13) Tuesday as they look forward to a rematch with Kelly Walsh (7-1, 14-3) on Friday night and Natrona (1-7, 2-16) on Saturday.
The Rock Springs/ Jackson games will be broadcast on 1360 KRKK beginning at 3:45 with the girls tipping off at 4:00 pm and the boys to follow around 5:30 pm. They will also be streamed on 1360KRKK.com.
