WGFD Offering Refunds To Deer Hunters Impacted By Ryan Fire

LARAMIE – The Wyoming Game and Fish Department may refund license fees for Deer Hunt Area 81 Limited Quota licenses if the license is returned, unaltered and with all coupons intact. Hunters holding these licenses should receive a letter in the mail with additional information on applying for a refund.

The Ryan Fire began on September 15th in the Mount Zirkel Wilderness area about 25 miles northwest of Walden, CO and quickly spread into Wyoming. The area closure will remain in effect until rescinded by the Forest Service.
