More Alcohol-Related Citations Issued During Fair Than Last Year: The Rock Springs Police Department saw an increase in alcohol-related citations during the week of the Sweetwater County Fair compared to last year. More information here.

School Officials Encourage Community Members To Attend Funding Model Meeting: In preparation for the School Funding Consultation Panel in Rock Springs August 14th, officials from the Board of Education, Sweetwater County School District #1, the Sweetwater Education Association, and the Wyoming Education Association are encouraging the pubic to stay informed and get involved. Workman First Ever To Capture Wyoming And Colorado Amateur Titles In Same Summer: Heading into his senior season as a golfer at the University of Wyoming, Glenn Workman is playing the best golf of his life. With a victory at the Colorado Golf Association Amateur Championship on Sunday, Workman became the first men’s golfer ever to capture the CGA Amateur title and Wyoming State Golf Association Amateur title in the same summer. Health insurers weigh double-digit premium increases amid Trump “uncertainty”: Study
Because of policy “uncertainty” from the Trump administration that is “far outside the norm,” some health insurers are considering double-digit increases to premiums in 2018, according to a new study from the Kaiser Family Foundation. More information here.
