Saturday, January 5th, 2019 the American Legion Tom Whitmore Post 28 in Green River and Zamtrip will be hosting the 5th Annual Music for Vets Concert to benefit local veterans.
Doors will open at 5 pm. The colors will be in place with Kyle Zampedri playing the Star Spangled Banner on the guitar at 5:50 pm. The shows will be set to start at 6 pm. Admission for the concert is $10 and all ages are welcome to attend. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Beer and non alcoholic drinks will be available during the event. Shows will take place at the Island Pavilion in Green River at 475 South 2nd East.

There will be a raffle with a chance to win a Remington Model 700 SPS 30-06 Rifle. Raffle tickets are $10 or three for $25. The drawing will take place during the concert. The rifle was donated by Wyoming Raised.
The legion is also raffling off baskets at $1 each. The next drawing takes place Saturday, December 15th, and two more baskets will be drawn at the event on January 5th.

The bands performing at the show will go in order as follows, Sin City Screamers, Wyoming Raised, Berlin Breaks, Az-Iz, Zamtrip, and Ron Keel.
All proceeds from the concert will go to the local veteran relief fund.
