When asked why he made the decision to go to Colorado Mesa University, Bider mentioned that “it just felt right and had a good vibe compared to the other schools I visited.” The college showed him a lot of interest and he knew that many of the coaches had also played there. Brock has an interest in either studying Finance or possibly Business while attending school, but said he was still undecided. He is excited about a new start, new friends and new coaches as he moves forward.

“I had the best teammates you could ask for. Many of us played from our youth league days until senior year. One key to our success was sticking together and working our tails off,” Bider said. His favorite aspect of football was hanging out with his friends, the bonds made, the coaches and how all of this will help him later in life when it comes to teamwork and leadership.

Brock Bider had a very successful football career as a student at Rock Springs High School. Brock has a 3 letter recipient in Football, a 3-year letter recipient in basketball, and 2 letters in Track and Field. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Tigers for Literacy, the Fire, Law and Leadership Academy and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

For All-Conference, Broke received Honorable Mention for All-State for his junior year for football and All-State Honorable Mention for Basketball his senior year.

“I would like to thank Coach Mark Lenhardt for believing in me and giving me an opportunity to be the RSQB #1. Coach Lenhardt spent countless hours with me and putting me in a place where I could be successful. Coach Lenhardt is like no other Coach I’ve had, he takes the time to build relationships with the players on and off the field and brings an atmosphere of success and high expectations. Every athlete that works with Coach knows he’s got your back and we’d do anything for that guy.  I cannot say thank you enough to Coach and his wife Kim, thank you for picking Rock Springs High School Football,” Bider stated.

He had a 10-2 season and 2nd place in the State Championship Football Game to Sheridan.
