It was another successful year for the 1st Bank and Wyo4News/WyoRadio Baby Food, Formula and Diaper Drive. The drive started on October 15th and went until November 16th, which resulted in more than 200 pounds of donations for the Food Bank of Sweetwater County.
The event saw a total of 3,132 diapers and 2,566 wipes donated along with $1,142 in cash donations. The funds collected will be used to purchase baby food and formula in the coming months after the food bank has run out of product on their shelves.
Success was fueled by Smith’s Food and Drug Store in Rock Springs, Walmart and Albertson’s all which served as drop off locations. Walmart also contributed a $100 gift card and Albertson’s donated boxes of diapers. Kelly’s Convenience Center’s contributed to the effort with a setup and donation of diapers as well.
