Area Basketball Players Earn 4A All-State Basketball Honors

Rock Springs, WY (3/12/19) – The 2019 Wyoming High School Boys and Girls 4A All-State Basketball players have been announced.

The 4A Girls All-State selections features freshman Brenli Jenkins from Rock Springs, and junior Madelyn Heiser (pictured above in white) from Green River. This is the first selection for both players.

The rest of the selections came from eight other teams with Madi Miller and Meadow Kuntz of Thunder Basin earning honors. Miller was also selected in 2018. Star Valley had Shay Erickson and Millie Merritt taking home awards, while Ky Buell and Madi Blaney of Cheyenne East received awards for their respective school. Rylee Hladky and McKenzee Nuzum were both selected from Campbell County. Hladky was also selected in 2017 and 2018.

 

Other selections included Ellie Fearneyhough of Cheyenne Central, Danilynn Schell from Kelly Walsh, Jen Aadland of Laramie, and Paige Powell from Cody. Aadland was also selected in 2018, while Powell was also selected in both in 2017 and 2018.

The 4A Boys All-State selections features senior Chase Stoeger (pictured below in grey) of Green River. This is the first selection for Stoeger.

 

The rest of the selections came from nine other teams with Gus Wright, Sam Lecholat, Parker Christensen, and Tristan Bower of Sheridan all gaining honors. Christensen and Bower were both selected in 2018. Cheyenne East had Demetrius McCord and Erik Oliver gathering awards. Oliver also was selected in 2017 and 2018.

Other selections were Trase Olsen from Campbell County, Lawson Lovering of Cheyenne Central, Nate Fairbanks from Jackson, Davion McAdam of Kelly Walsh, Hudda Herrera from Laramie, Elijah Leyva of Cody, and Treyton Paxton from Riverton. Leyva and Paxton were also selected in 2018.
