Sweetwater County – Rock Springs, Green River, Flaming Gorge and Wamsutter and East Sweetwater County. WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT. Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 8 inches possible. The heaviest snow will occur south of Interstate 80 and the least amount north. Five to six inches are possible in Rock Springs and Green River. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph.

Fremont County – Green Mountains and Rattlesnake Range including the city of Jeffrey City. WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT. Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches possible. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.
Fremont County – Wind River Mountains East-Lander Foothills including the city of Lander.
WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT. Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches possible on the East Slope of the Wind River Mountains along with around 4 inches in the Lander Foothills. Winds could gust as high as 35 to 40 mph.
Carbon County – Central Carbon County, Southwest Carbon County, Upper North Platte River Basin including the cities of Rawlins, Baggs, Saratoga, and Encampment. WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING TO 6 PM MDT ThURSDAY. Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 13 inches expected. Reduced visibility with wind gusts as high as 40 mph.

South Lincoln County including the cities of Kemmerer and Cokeville. This is a special weather statement from the National Weather Service Office in Riverton, Wyoming. One to two inches of snow near Kemmerer and Cokeville. Northwest winds of 25 to 30 mph by 7 AM Wednesday, increasing to 35 to 45 mph by 12 pm Wednesday.
