The Sweetwater Events Complex will play host to the Comic & Gamers Con event at the Exhibit Hall in Rock Springs after the new year. The two day event will take place Friday, January 11th, and Saturday, January 12th.
The events on Friday are scheduled for 3 pm and will go to 11 pm with a $10 admission charge. Featured are education and experience panels, free magic training, Bey Blade tournaments, and a Parents and Little Heros Dance Ball.

Saturday will be an all day event filled with fun from 10 am to 11 pm. Admission for Saturday is $15. Events will include education and experience panels, free magic training, Bey Blade tournaments, and a Cosplay Heros vs Villains Dance Ball. AZ Powergirl will start with an intro to cosplay, which is the practice of dressing up as a character from a movie, book, or video game, especially one from the Japanese genres of manga and anime.There will be shopping, games, and a kid’s zone.
Comic Gamers Con will include shopping, games, and a kid’s zone. There will also be a two big tournaments; Super Smash Bros 2019 championship along with the Mario Kart 2019 championship. Don’t miss out on the competition and the opportunity to be called the champ. The public will also have the opportunity to visit Alfred Trujillo at the 183 Degree Studio.

Ages five and under are free while college students have the opportunity to attend both days for $10.
