Rock Springs, WY (5/11/19) – This Tuesday, Commerce Bank of Wyoming will once again be hosting their annual Community Shred Day. The free event will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Commerce Bank parking lot, 1575 Dewar Drive in Rock Springs.
Commerce Bank is recommending one to two bags or boxes per person. They will also provide a free lunch to those bringing items to be shred.
Shredding will be done by WyoData Security, who asks participants to remove all paperwork from three-ring binders and remove all metal binder clips. Please, no garbage mixed with items to be shred. Paperwork with staples and paperclips are not a problem. Items that can be shred include items such as scam mailings, bills, bank statements, credit card offers, and more.
During the event, WyoData Security will also be collecting computer hard drives for destruction. Hard drives will be destroyed at their building facility as a different machine is required.
