The County Department of Public Works and Sheriff Mike Lowell are advising that County Road 48 (the Salt Wells Road), east of Rock Springs, is once again closed where it crosses Bitter Creek, due to serious flooding.
Lowell emphasized that as the weather worsens, so have county road conditions throughout Sweetwater County. County authorities strongly recommend that travelers exercise caution and be alert for flooding and snow.
