SWEETWATER COUNTY – Western Wyoming Community College has announced this week’s Covid-19 information. Currently, there are 6 new confirmed positive cases at the Rock Springs and Green River Campus. There are 9 active cases currently and 34 total recovered cases for the Fall 2021 semester.
SWEETWATER COUNTY – Here is your weekly update from the Sweetwater County District Board of Health. As of 9/22/21, Sweetwater County is at 14.3% test positivity and 255 active cases. This has decreased from 15.6% and 276 active cases. There are 63 confirmed deaths to date. Additional deaths have been added since the last update. They are aware of a number of additional deaths, but, Vital Statistics is currently lagging 1-2 months behind in reporting.
Vaccinations: Public Health holds daily walk-in hours for both COVID and school immunizations. Afternoons are available by appointment.
Walk-in COVID/Flu Clinics scheduled at the Events Complex: 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, 119, 11/16, 11/23, 11/30 from 1-4 pm

Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County has 15 COVID-positive inpatients as of this morning, of which 9 are in the ICU.
Weekly Vaccine Clinic: Everyone 12 and older can get a COVID-19 vaccine during the hospital’s COVID-19 vaccine drive-thru offered from 3-6 p.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday at the main hospital entrance in the same place the swabbing station operates. Call us at 307-352-8561 if you have questions.
The upcoming vaccination clinic for Western Wyoming Community College will be held on September 28 from 11 am – 2 pm in room 1404. Walk-ins welcome. Western’s Board of Trustees put into place an extended mask mandate through Tuesday, October 19.
