Cowboys and Cowgirls Battle Broncs Today


The Wyoming Cowboy and Cowgirl basketball teams have tough Mountain West Conference matchups today as the Cowboys (16-11 overall, 6-8 MWC) travel to Boise State (16-8 overall, 9-4 MWC) and the Cowgirls (18-6 overall, 10-4 MWC) will be home against Boise State (17-7 overall, 7-6 MWC).

For the Cowgirls, this will be their their first game back after learning that leading scorer Liv Roberts will miss the rest of the season after suffering an ACL injury in the loss against Colorado State (20-6 overall, 12-2 MWC) last Wednesday night.  The Cowgirls are are in second place in the MWC, trailing CSU by two games and one game ahead of New Mexico (14-11 overall, 9-5 MWC).

The Cowboys will be looking to stop a two game skid as they visit a Bronc team that is trailing league leading Colorado State (18-9 overall, 10-4 MWC) by just 1/2 game.  The Pokes lost at home to Boise State 80-65 in January.
