Cowboys Fall Short In Comeback Against CSU


Wyoming Cowboys lost to Colorado State 78-73 last night in Laramie. The Pokes trailed by ten in the second half but cut the Ram lead to 70-69 with just over a minute to go in the game.  Then the Rams Prentis Nixon took over scoring seven of his 16 points in the final 34 seconds to seal the victory for CSU.

The Cowboys were led in scoring by Justin James with 23 points with Alan Herdon adding 15 points.

Wyoming drops to 6-8 in the conference, 16-11 overall.   CSU ups their MWC mark to 10-4 and now lead the MWC by ½ game over Boise State who lost at New Mexico last night.
