Cowboys Logan Wilson makes publication’s All-American list

LARAMIE, WYOMING (Dec. 3, 2019) – Wyoming Cowboy senior linebacker Logan Wilson has been named an All-American by Pro Football Focus. Wyoming punt returner Austin Conway was named as Honorable Mention All-American by the publication.

Wilson was a First Team selection. This season the Pokes three time team captain has 96 tackles, four interceptions and one forced fumble. He also has 7.5 tackles for loss on the season.

A native of Casper, Wyoming, Wilson was the only defensive player in the country to field elite grades against the run, in coverage and when blitzing the passer. Pro Football Focus also stated he finished as the nation’s highest-graded linebacker with 17 total pressures on just 50 pass-rushes, secured 40 run stops and made nine total plays on the ball for a passer rating of just 63.2 into his coverage.

Wilson is also credited with 106 tackle attempts and making 82 solo tackles with 14 assisted tackles while he averaged making a tackle in run defense just 3.33 yards past the line of scrimmage.
