February 7, 2022 — Wyoming senior guard Hunter Maldonado was named the Mountain West Player of the Week today, becoming the first Cowboy in school history to earn the honor three times in a single season. He also became the first player in the league since Nevada’s Jalen Harris won the weekly award three times during the 2019-20 season.
