Led by Justin James 21 points, the Wyoming Cowboys moved into the third round of the CBI Tournament with a 72-61 win over the Kangaroos of University of Missouri/Kansas City City last night in Laramie.
The Pokes led by six at the half, 38-32 and stretched that led to as many as 15 points in the second half.  Cowboys shot 49% for the field including 43% from behind the three point line.  Allen Herndon added 14 points with Jason McManamen netting 11 points.
The Cowboys will now host Utah Valley on Wednesday in the tournament semi-finals. Last night Utah Valley defeated Rice on the road 85-79.
