November 5, 2021 — For the second time this season, the Wyoming volleyball team and San Jose State played in a five-set battle, only this time, it was SJSU that rallied to prevail for a five-set victory. Set scores went 25-14, 23-25, 19-25, 25-17, and 18-16.
The loss dropped the Cowgirls record to 5-8 in the Mountain West and 13-12 on the year. San Jose State improved to 10-3 in the conference and 16-7 overall.
UW will look to rally Saturday against Nevada (0-13 in the MW and 3-21 overall) in Laramie.

Cowgirl Basketball
The Cowgirl basketball team is set for one final tune-up before the 2021-22 regular season begins next week as Wyoming is hosting UC Colorado Springs tonight. The Cowgirls won their first exhibition 106-47 over Colorado Christian last Friday night.
Tonight’s game will be broadcast on WyoRadio’s 1360/103.5 KRKK and 1360KRKK.com.
Broadcast time is 6 p.m. with tipoff at 6:30
Friday’s exhibition game will also feature the Cowgirls unveiling the 2021 Mountain West Tournament Championship banner and the Cowgirls being presented with their MW tournament championship rings before the game.
The Cowgirls will open the regular season next Tuesday morning, November 9, facing Colorado-Pueblo at 11:00 a.m.
