October 31, 2021 — The Wyoming volleyball team’s comeback came up short Saturday on the road at Air Force. The Cowgirls fell in four sets 25-14, 25-21, 16-25, and 25-23.
UW, now 13-11 on the year and 5-7 in the Mountain West, was held to a .180 hitting percentage as a team in Saturday’s loss while Air Force hit .252 overall. The Falcons also had a slight edge in both team blocks (9-8) and service aces (9-7). UW also had 10 serving errors, while Air Force had nine. The Falcons are now 3-9 in conference and 6-16 on the season.
Wyoming will now look to rebound after two straight road losses with four consecutive matches in Laramie beginning Thursday hosting second place San Jose State (9-3 MW/15-7 overall).
