Cowgirls enjoy home sweep of Nevada

November 7, 2021 — The Wyoming volleyball team righted the ship Saturday night in Laramie, as the Cowgirls made quick work of Nevada, sweeping the Wolf Pack 25-22, 25-17, and 25-19. The win improved the Cowgirls to 6-8 in the Mountain West and 14-12 overall. Nevada fell to 0-14 in the conference and 3-22 on the season.

The Cowgirls were led by Jackie McBride and KC McMahon in the contest as each recorded ten kills and hit .556 on the night. McBride also chipped in with a pair of blocking assists, while McMahon had two blocks and four digs.

Wyoming will close its four-match homestand next week against league-leading Colorado State (12-2 in the MW and 16-7 overall) on Tuesday and then Fresno State (7-7 in the MW and 11-11 overall)on Thursday.

The regular season will end the following week.
