February 2, 2022 — After scoring two straight home wins, the Wyoming women’s basketball team hits the road this week for a pair of games. Game one is tonight at Air Force.

The Cowgirls are coming off home wins against Boise State (61-47) and Nevada (62-53). Those wins evened UW’s Mountain West record at 4-4 (8-9 overall). Air Force is 5-5 (11-10 overall) in the conference. The Falcons lost their last game, 83-67, at home to UNLV.

Tonight’s game will be broadcast on WyoRadio’s 1360/103.5 KRKK and 1360KRKK.com beginning at 6 p.m. with tip-off at 6:30 p.m.

The Cowgirls have dominated the all-time series with the Falcons, leading 56-3. Wednesday’s contest will be the first in Colorado Springs since December 2019, a 65-63 Cowgirl win. Wyoming last faced Air Force on January 15, resulting in a 57-54 win as the Cowgirls Grace Ellis hit the game-winning layup with under three seconds left in the contest.
