Cowgirls Look For WNIT Second Round Win Today

Rock Springs, WY. (3/24/19) – The Wyoming Cowgirls and the South Alabama Jaguars will meet for the first time in their basketball histories today in Laramie for a second round WNIT matchup.

The Cowgirls will bring a 23-8 record into today’s contest while the Jaguars and 25-10 on the season.  South Alabama plays in the Sun Belt Conference were they finished with a 9-9 conference record.

Today’s game is scheduled to tip-off at 2:00 p.m. from the Double A in Laramie and will be broadcast on WyoRadio’s 1360 KRKK and streamed at beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Wyoming enters today’s game coming off a 68-60 home win over Northern Colorado this past Thursday night.  South Alabama advanced to the second round after a 73-71 road win at Lamar on Friday.

The winner of today’s contest will meet the winner of this evenings game between Saint Mary’s and Pepperdine.
