Cowgirls Look To Extend Win Streak, Cowboys Start One


Rock Springs, WY (2/27/19) – The Wyoming Cowgirl and Cowboy basketball teams take on Fresno State tonight.  The Cowgirls (11-3 in the MWC and 18-5) will be looking for their 10th straight win when they host Fresno State (10-5, 17-9).

The Cowgirls are currently in a second place tie in the Mountain West Conference with New Mexico (11-3, 21-4) and just one game behind league leader Boise State (12-2, 21-4).  New Mexico will host San Jose State (3-11, 4-21) tonight while Boise State is at Colorado State (2-12, 8-17).

Tonight’s Cowgirl/New Mexico game will be broadcast on WyoRadio’s 1360 KRKK and streamed at beginning at 6:00 p.m. with tip-off at 6:30.

The Wyoming Cowboys (2-12, 6-21) will be at third place Fresno State (10-5, 19-8) tonight looking to stop a four-game losing skid.  The Bulldogs will be looking to stop their own two game losing streak.

The Cowboy/Fresno State contest will be broadcast on WyoRadio’s 99.7 JACK-FM and streamed at beginning at 7:30 p.m. with tip-off at 8:00 p.m.
