Rock Springs, WY – David Burchfield comes to Rock Springs for the second Live in the Lobby at the Broadway Theater on Wednesday night, February 20 at 7 PM.

Burchfield blends classic Americana with bluegrass and folk overtones. He specializes in original music that focuses on regrets, love lost, trying to do better, missing his home state of Colorado, among others. His voice travels the entire room while he expresses emotion on his guitar as if he’s unplugged.

Taking cues from folk singers, Josh Ritter and Joe Pug, Burchfield’s literate lyrics meet intense grace in nods to Gillian Welch, Mandolin Orange and David Ramirez. There is a powerful candor in Burchfield’s writing – raw, delicate and rich with details that bring the audience right into the middle of his passion. He has been known to quiet down the rowdiest of rooms. Burchfield has played the Middle of the Map Fest and Boulevardia, a Kansas City music festival and more.

Tickets are $5.00 at the door and a cash bar will be available.

Live in the Lobby series are sponsored by WyoRadio.
