Fast Cars And Foster Kids Hosting Autocross Next Saturday and Sunday In Rock Springs


The Fast Cars and Foster Kids non-profit organization will be hosting another autocross and car show event this coming Saturday and Sunday at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs. The event will start both days at 9:00 a.m.

The WWCC student parking area will designated for spectators to park. The event is free admission for those not participating in the Autocross events.

The fees are $40 dollars for those racing one day and $60 dollars for the weekend.

There will be prizes and giveaways during the event. There will also be a kids choice trophy where kids vote on their favorite vehicle which will then be used as the banner for next years show.

The event will feature six different classes for the autocross events:

  • A – 0 to 250 horsepower
  • B – 250 to 350
  • C – 350 to 450
  • D – 450 to 550
  • E – 500+
  • F – Tire Class
  • G – Truck Class

The Truck Class must be half ton pickup ride height. 3/4 ton trucks can only be two wheel drive. The trucks can not be lifted.

The next event will take place on August 11th which will include a car show and a burnout. The car show will take place in the parking lot of WWCC by the tennis courts.The burnout will take place during the car show and you cannot have drag slicks for the burnout.
