The Broadway Theaters Foreign Film February comes to an end Wednesday night with the showing of the Portuguese film The Second Mother. Â The film will begin at 7:00 pm. Â Tickets are just $5.00 and can be purchased at the Rock Springs Main Street URA office at 603 South Main or the Rock Springs Chamber at 1897 Dewar Drive.
The Second Mother is a 2015 Brazilian film about the housemaid of a wealthy family in São Paulo, and portrays the tensions that arise after her daughter Jéssica moves into the family’s house in order to apply for an admission exam at the University of São Paulo.
It premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival and was later released theatrically in Brazil.
