Green River boys South Region Champs/Lady Wolves place second

September 18, 2021 — The Green River Wolves have won the South Regional Tennis Tournament in Cheyenne. The Wolves tallied 53 points to win the crown. Laramie was second with 47 points followed by Cheyenne South with 46. Rock Springs finished eighth with six points.

The Wolves #1 Doubles team of Zach Friel/Taylon Tirrell won the South Regional title. See all the Wolves and Tigers results below.

In the girl’s competition, Green River’s 50 team points were second to Cheyenne East’s 53. Cheyenne Central was third with 49 points. The Rock Springs Lady Tigers ended in fifth place with 13 team points.

Green River High School tennis coach Phil Harder was named the South Regional Coach of the Year.
