It was a battle of two of the state’s best 1A girls basketball teams when third rated Little Snake River (18-3) and top rated Fason-Eden (18-3) met yesterday. Â In the end, the Lady Pronghorns suffered their first conference loss of the season 52-45 at Little Snake River. Â The good news is, Farson-Eden still leads the 1A Southwest Conference with a 7-1 mark, one game ahead of Little Snake River.
In the boys matchup, Little Snake River ran away from the Pronghorns for a 72-47 win. Â The win keeps LSR undefeated in conference play (8-0, 13-8 overall) while the Pronghorns fall to 4-4 in conference and 10-11 overall.
