About Spencer West

Spencer West is a 1999 graduate of Rock Springs High School who currently lives in Toronto, Canada and works as a motivational speaker with the Me to We Organization.

West lost both of his legs at the age of five due to a genetic disorder. He was told by doctors that he would never be able to sit up or walk. He and his family decided to seek out every opportunity, and West continues to redefine possible in his daily life.

West has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, and trekked from Edmonton to Calgary in his wheelchair and on his hands to raise awareness for clean water projects – a 187 mile endeavor. He leads youth and adult trips overseas and speaks to audiences all over the world.

He is a global speaker, a best-selling author, and star of the 2012 documentary film Redefine Possible: The Story of Spencer West.
