September 19, 2021 — The City of Green River is planning a water outage tomorrow, Monday, September 20. The outage could affect 10 homes located on Comanche Circle and Indian Hills. The outage is part of the Indian Hills Cul-de-sac water project.
The water shutoff is scheduled to occur between 8 am to 5 pm. Affected homes are encouraged to fill a bathtub and use that water to fill toilets for use during the day.
The contractor, Longhorn Construction, is replacing a 4-inch waterline with an 8-inch waterline. According to the City of Green River, this area has seen several waterline breaks over the years. Fire hydrants in that area will also be replaced.
