Rock Springs and Green River City Council meetings tomorrow night

Sweetwater County, Wyoming — Tomorrow night, January 18, Rock Springs City Council and Green River City Council will meet at their regular times, 7:00 p.m.

Rock Springs agenda:

In new business, the Department of Engineering/Operations and Public Services will ask for permission to extend the 2021 Fuel Contract under the current bid prices for one year.

The Parks and Recreation Department will be asking for permission to move forward with the acquisitions of various water well components and service work to rehabilitate Well #5 and #6 at the golf course.

There will be a resolution to accept and approve a memorandum of understanding between the City of Rock Springs and Sweetwater County Fire Department #1 to purchase radio equipment for the fire stations, apparatus, and personnel through funding from the Federal Assistance Firefighters Grant.

Before adjournment, there will be three ordinance readings, including a second reading of an ordinance pertaining to mobile vendors.

Green River agenda:

After citizen requests and other communications, wherein citizens can express concerns pertaining to items on and off the agenda, there will be an appointment of Cathy Hemker to the Green River Tree Board.

There will be a third and final reading of an ordinance pertaining to rezoning from general business to single family residential.

The Council will consider the 2022 HIDTA sub-contract award from Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.

Before adjournment, there will be several other council action items, approval of payment of bills, City Administrator report, City Attorney’s report, and Mayor and City Board updates and reports.

The council will then go into executive session.
