(Sweetwater County, Wyo. – August 9, 2018) A wanted Rock Springs man was arrested without incident after a Tactical Response Team callout on Wednesday.
Sweetwater County Sheriff Mike Lowell said Donald Ray Patrick, 45, is charged with Domestic Battery (Third Offense), a felony. He was also wanted on a bench warrant issued by the District Court Green River.

Lowell said Patrick was tracked to a residence in Clearview Acres, which was surrounded by tactical officers. Telephone contact with him was established by Detective Michelle Hall, who convinced him to surrender.
Patrick was taken into custody and during the course of a subsequent search, an AR-15-style rifle was recovered.
According to court records, Patrick was convicted of Domestic Battery in 2008, and again in November, 2009, of Domestic Battery (Third or Subsequent Offense), a felony.

Lowell said Patrick remains in custody at the Sweetwater County Detention Center pending an initial court appearance. He credited the Rock Springs Police Department, the Sweetwater Bomb Squad, Sweetwater County Fire District #1, and Sweetwater Medics with assistance in the operation.
