RS Fire Department now accepting toys and donations for its “Toys for Kids”

November 15, 2021 — As part of its “Annual Toys for Kids” program, the Rock Springs Fire Department is currently accepting new toys for children 12 years of age and under who may not otherwise receive Christmas gifts. Cash contributions are also accepted, to be used for the purchase of gifts.

New toys and cash donations can be dropped off at the Rock Springs Fire Department Headquarters at 600 College Drive.

Anyone who needs assistance providing Christmas presents for their children can register either at the Food Bank of Sweetwater County, 90 Center Street in Rock Springs, or the Rock Springs Fire Department’s Facebook page on November 23, between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. An online sign-up will be available that day from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. The link will be provided on social media that morning on the Rock Springs Firefighters page and other community pages.

Toys will be distributed at the old Washington Elementary School (or old Head Start Building) located at 625 Ahsay Street in Rock Springs on December 18th from 8 a.m. to noon
