About Fen from the RSPD Facebook page:

Fen isn’t your average Police K9. His life started out a little different than what Police Departments are used to. Fen was born in Colorado, where he spent most of the day in a crate. His owner didn’t have the time or energy to invest in him, and he was surrendered to a shelter. Fen became aggressive while at the shelter and was scheduled to be euthanized.

Fen was given one last shot when a Police K9 trainer from Rawlin’s Wyoming saw his potential and adopted him. Eventually, Fen was adopted by the RSPD, and he quickly excelled! Fen is now certified at a national level for both Narcotics and patrol work! Fen is holding his own against other dogs who were bred specifically for Police work!
