SCSD#1 approves new bus route for 2021-2022 school year

ROCK SPRINGS, WYOMING (July 22, 2021) – The Sweetwater County School District No. 1 Board of Trustees unanimously approved the new bus route schedule, along with pickup and drop-off locations for the 2021-2022 school year at Wednesday’s meeting.

 

Changes to the bus routes must occur because of the school district’s decision to go from a five-day school week to a four-day school week, which includes changes to the start and end times to the normal school day.

Before the vote took place, superintendent Kelly McGovern asked the board for permission to adjust the bus route as needed throughout the school year, depending on different circumstances that can arise.
