(March 21, 2019) – At around 9 A.M. this morning, Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office detectives, in coordination with law enforcement authorities in Carbon County, responded to a residence in northeast Rawlins, WY to serve a search warrant related to an ongoing investigation involving multiple burglaries and thefts originating in Sweetwater County.

Given potential discoveries made during execution of the search warrant, officials from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department also responded to the scene to assist, at the request of the SCSO.
According to the Sheriff’s Office this remains an active investigation and they cannot release any further details at this time. The SCSO will release additional information as soon as it becomes available.
