The Rock Springs Tiger came up short in Laramie as they fall to the Laramie Plainsman 21-14. The Tigers started the game tough against the Plainsman but were unable to gain the lead.

Junior Favor Okere was able to score on a 43-yard touchdown run with 3:50 left in the second quarter giving the Tigers some momentum before the half. However, the Tigers were unable to convert on the 2-point conversion.
The second half saw the Tigers struggle with turnovers and with 4:20 left in the third quarter the Tigers were able to carry the ball for eight plays finishing with a 5-yard touchdown run by Okere. The Tigers capitalized and were able to make the two-point conversion making the score, 21-14.

The Tigers are on the road next week as they travel to Cheyenne to take on the Cheyenne Central Indians. That game will be broadcast live on WyoRadio’s KMRZ 106.7 FM with the Tiger Pre-Game show beginning at 5:30 p.m.
