RSHS swimmer Leah Moser signs with Sterling College

Rock Springs – Rock Springs High School swimmer, Leah Moser, signed with Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas last night. Leah has decided to major in Nursing once she starts college, and hopes to be a middle distance and relay swimmer for the college.

Leah has been swimming for the past six years. Leah stated, “I started swimming in junior high because my mom made me, but after trying it, I really started to like it.” She has been swimming ever since. When asked what her favorite part of swimming has been, Leah said, “I really loved competing and also growing as a swimmer and as a person. I have learned so much about being supportive of others because of swimming.”

Leah’s favorite memory was the first time she qualified for state, stating, “After working hard for two years, it was so great to finally qualify.” She also said that her coaches and parents have inspired her through all her years of swimming.
