Tickets still available for Irish tenor David Shannon show at Western’s Theater

October 13, 2021 — The Sweetwater Concert Association will open their 2021/2022 four concert season next Thursday, October 21, with a performance by Irish tenor David Shannon at the Western Wyoming Community College Theater. Tickets are still available at the Rock Springs Chamber, or at the door.

Concert Association members get a guaranteed seat at all four concerts for $45. There are also special admission fees for seniors, students, and families. Memberships are available at the Rock Springs and Green River Chambers of Commerce and at the door the night of the David Shannon concert.

About David Shannon

David Shannon grew up in Ireland and has been singing professionally for more than 25 years. He has graced the stage for SCCA previously as the Broadway half of the Irish duo Fir in the 2016‐17 season. He has an amazing tenor voice and has starred on London’s West end as the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera, as Jen Val Jean in Les Miz, and many other big shows.

The Sweetwater County Concert Association will be presenting a four-concert series this season. The rest of the series will feature pianist/singer Tony DeSare on November 22. After the holidays, the comedy/magic show The Chipper Experience will perform on March 25, 2022 wtih the series wrapping up in April with the husband-wife duo Sundae and Mr. Goessl.
