Tigers and Wolves Swimmers Win Individual State Championships

Green River and Rock Springs swimmers were crowned state champions at the 4A State Boys State Championships today in Gillette.  The Wolves Michael Richmond won the 200 Yard IM and the 100 Yard Butterfly.  Rock Springs Darwin Anderson was crowned State Champion in the 200 Yard Freestyle and 500 Yard Freestyle.

200 Yard Freestyle – State Champion –  Darwin Anderson Rock Springs, 4th Bryan Monzon, Rock Springs,

200 Yard IM – State Champion – Michael Richmond, Green River

50 Yard Freestyle –   5th – Brendan Bloomquist,  Green River

1 Meter Diving - 4th – Keyan Moore, Green River,  8th -Coleton Spalding Green Rviver, 10th – Mile Moffat, Green River

100 Yard Butterfly –  State Champion – Michael Richmond, Green River

500 Yard Freestyle –  State Champion – Darwin Anderson, Rock Springs, 3rd – Ron DeFauw, Rock Springs, 4th – Parker Newberg, Rock Springs.

200 Yard Freestyle Relay – 5th Green River, Brendan Bloomquist, Ethan Moffatt, Lane Hutchison, Michael Richmond.

100 Yard Backstroke –  5th – Ron DeFauw, Rock Springs 

100 yard Breaststroke – 2nd – Ethan Moffatt, Green River, 4th Brendan Bloomquist, Green River.

400 Yard Freestyle – 3rd – Rock Springs Springs, James Spicer, Ron DeFauw, Bryan Monzon, Darwin Anderson.
