UW Rodeo Dinner And Auction Saturday, February 23rd


The University of Wyoming Rodeo Teams Inaugural UW Rodeo Gala event will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center in Laramie. Tickets for the Gala are available and start at just $55 for an individual or $500 for a table. Tables include seating for up to seven plus one student.

The doors will open at 5:30 pm for cocktail hour and silent auction followed by an evening of entertainment including activities, a live auction, and dinner. Silent auction items include a University of Wyoming Football Helmet signed by Head Coach Craig Bohl, Wyoming Cowboy and Cowgirl Basketball Season Tickets, a Wyoming Cowboy Football Game package with meals in the WildCatter and much more. Live auction items include such things as a guided hunt, a rifle donated by Weatherby an NFR Package and more.

Guest speaker, Jason Miller will be in attendance. Miller is a University of Wyoming Graduate, 5-Time NFR Qualifier and 2007 World Champion Steer Wrestler.

The University of Wyoming Rodeo men’s team is currently ranked first in the Central Rocky Mountain Region while the women’s team sits in second just 535 points behind Eastern Wyoming College.

Head Coach Beau Clark, a 2012 NFR Steer Wrestling Qualifier, states the Gala will be a way for the general public to get to know the program at the University.

During the dinner, Clark will highlight the team’s success both in the classroom and the arena. Of the 52 members on the team, Clark says that over half of the student-athletes have a 3.2 GPA or above.
