October 1, 2021 — Every day has something to celebrate!
Here is what we are celebrating today:
“World Smile Day” – The day to celebrate Harvey Ball who in 1963 introduced the world to his bright yellow smiley face artwork.
“Body Language Day” – Charles Darwin detailed his observations of nonverbal communications in 1872. Remember crossing your arms is closed body language. Arms at your sides are open body language. Arms and hands behind your back, most likely an appearance in the Wyo4News Arrest Report.
“CD Player Day” – The first CD player was introduced in 1983. The sale of CD albums peaked in the year 2000 and has dropped by 97% since that peak due to music streaming services.
“Willy Wonka Day” – A day of happiness caused by the excessive intake of sugar. Just like Willy Wonka, hide candy around the house with nametags attached. Hopefully, people find all the candy before the family dog does.
