September 21, 2021 — Every day has something to celebrate!

Here is what we are celebrating today:

“IT Professionals Day” – A salute to those who keep your computer world up and running.

“National Dance Day” – A celebration of all forms of dance, including the “Chicken Dance,” which was initially called the “Duck Dance.”  The song and the dance became popular in the 1970s at Germany’s Oktoberfest. It was introduced to the US in 1981 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, but no duck costumes were available for rent, but a chicken custom was…, and the rest is history.

“International Day of Peace” – Created by the U.N. in 1981. Unfortunately, this is still a work in progress.
