Rock Springs, WY (5/11/19) – The Rock Springs Lady Tigers kept rolling along with their undefeated season after Friday’s, 8-0, win over Star Valley in the semi-finals of the Girls 4A West Regional Soccer Tournament in Casper.

The #1 seeded Lady Tigers will play the #2 seed Casper Kelly Walsh, a 3-1 winner over Jackson in Friday’s other semi-final match, at 2:00 p.m. today. Even though Rock Springs has two wins over Kelly Walsh during the regular season, the Lady Fillies are the only team to have scored goals against the Lady Tigers this season.

In the 4A Boys Regional Tournament, the #5 seeded Green River Wolves surprised #1 seeded Casper Kelly Walsh, 1-0, Friday to move into today’s Regional Championship match. The Wolves will take on the #2 seed Star Valley at 4:00 p.m. The Braves advanced into today’s Regional Championship match by defeating #3 seed Jackson 3-0.
Both the Rock Springs Lady Tigers and Green River Wolves have qualified for next week’s 4A State Soccer Tournament. Today’s results will determine their seedings.
