Rock Springs, WY (2/16/19) – The 4A West Regional Wrestling Meet came to a close this afternoon at Rock Springs High School. In the end, Casper Kelly Walsh won the team title with 266 points. Green River was second with 226.5 points and Rock Springs third at 215 points.

Other team scores in the six team meet were: Casper Natrona – 151.5, Evasnton – 114 and Laramie – 65.5
Individually, Green River ended the meet with four wrestlers who won weight classes: Clayson Mele (106), Dominic Martinez (113), Kade Flores (120) and Payton Tucker (182). Zack Vasquez (126) and Cameron Metcalf (138) scored championship for Rock Springs.
Teams will now compete in the 4A State Wrestling Championships next Friday and Saturday in Casper. The event will take place at the Casper Events Center.
