Emily Ice was the recipient of the Spring Grant from the Woman’s Club of Rock Springs. Students taking 12 or more hours at Western Wyoming Community College are eligible to apply for the RSWC grants.
Usually two $500 grants are given in the fall and then again in the spring. These may be used on books or other school needs.
Anyone interested in these grants is asked to contact the club through the website at www.gfwcrocksprings.org or contact any member.
The funding for these grants is raised by the club through projects such as the annual Holiday House, Farmer’s Market booth, and kitchen boas sold at Whatnots & Wine in the Emporium.
