Sports:

  • Both the Rock Springs and Green River track and field teams will travel to Provo, Utah today to compete in the two-day BYU High School Invitational.  Farson-Eden and Mountain View will also compete in the meet.

 

  • High School soccer teams will wrap up their regular season today and Saturday.  Rock Springs boys and girls teams will play at Casper Natrona today while Green Rivers’ girls and boys will be at Casper Kelly Walsh.  The teams will switch opponents Saturday.

 

  • On Saturday, the Rock Springs Sand Puppies American Legion Baseball team will host Riverton, Green River and Evanston in a two-day tournament.  Play begins Saturday at noon with Rock Springs hosting Riverton.  Green River opens play Saturday at 5:00 p.m. against Evanston.

 

  • Sean Chambers Wins The Spring Cowboy Quarterback Battle: The University of Wyoming Cowboy Football coaching staff released their final team spring depth chart yesterday. More information here.
